More ferret toys

I always say how ferret need to be kept entertained and that is not just with other ferrets but they can also keep themselves amused by using toys. (that is not to say you can't play with them them using the toys)

Here are some of the toys i found on my favorite online shop Ferret couture-
http://ferretcouture.co.uk/shop/toys.asp

1) Jingle mice- with these ferrets will roll around and also they will chase them if you roll them on the ground because of the bell that makes a noise when it moves.

 2) Stashing mice are not something you can play with but if you leave them in the ferret hutch or cage then they will find them and hide them in their bedding. Miko and Princess love to stash these little mice all over the place!

3) Fuzzball chasers- if you wiggle them on the ground, they will make a jingle noise becauase of the bell on them and the ferret will chase the fluffy part of it around and hunt it down.

4) A treat ball is a great way to make them work to get their treats. This is a much better way of allowing them to have the occasional yummy treat. This is because you can hide the treat within the ball, they smell it and have to roll the ball around in order to get the treat. This makes them think a bit more about he way they get the food!

Ferret nom noms

Ferrets love a good treat as anyone does. however people can eat a lot more things than ferrets can so  finding them to have a healthy and tasty snack is harder than you may think. Therefore i came up with a recipe of my own i called tuna sushi!

You will need-

. A tin a yummy tuna!

. Ferret kibble...
Chicken and a rectangle of tin foil!
Method-
1- Squish some tuna in with water to make it more moist,

2-In the center place three strips of chicken 1cm apart,

3- crush an handful of kibble and sprinkle it in between the two gaps next to the chicken strips,

4- Carefully roll the tuna up using the foil to guide you (make sure you don't wrap the foil along with it!) and

5- Serve it to you awaiting ferrets!
